How NW Gun News handles reader information, newsletter subscriptions and newsroom correspondence.
Information we collect
When you subscribe to the NW Gun News newsletter or send a message through our contact form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, subject and message. We do not collect payment information because we do not sell goods or services.
How we use your information
Contact details are used to deliver the newsletter you requested, to respond to your message, and to improve our regional reporting. We do not sell, rent or trade reader information with third parties.
Newsletter and consent
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link included in every email. Requests to remove your details are actioned promptly.
Cookies and analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which stories readers find useful. Any aggregate measurement is used only to guide editorial decisions and is never linked to an individual reader's identity.
Editorial submissions
If you send a tip, document or correction, we treat it as confidential unless you tell us otherwise. We do not publish identifying details without permission.
